The goal of Gangs OR Us is to provide law enforcement and

knowledge necessary to determine if street or prison gangs are in your community or
corrections facility. On this site you will find sixty-one (61) pages containing over
900 well organized external links to other sites. You will also find information from

of the presence of gangs. In addition to the identifiers, you will also find pages on street
gangs, prison gangs, female gangs, state gang statutes, court decisions, research links, and more.

street gangs. The site allows gang members to tell their stories, express themselves through
their writing and share their experiences of gang life with others. Gangstyle also offers
outreach allowing those involved with street gangs to get assistance and support.

- The National Youth Violence Prevention Resource Center
(safeyouth.org) Interpersonal violence is one of the most important issues facing our nation's youth. Although
many institutional and community-based efforts have been directed towards alleviating this problem,
information about these efforts is not always easy to find. To fill this need, the National Youth
Violence Prevention Resource Center web site, www.safeyouth.org, and call center, 1-866-SAFEYOUTH
(723-3968), serve as a user-friendly, single point of access to federal information on youth violence.
Facts about youth gangs and violence.

- Justice4youth was established in 1999 by some Calgarian (ex. Calgary, Alberta, Canada)
youth that wanted to educate their peers about their rights as well as more about the issues
that contributed to youth crime - and young peoples lives in general.
